“Don’t resist Jesus!”

Why do people feel the need to impose their religion on others? I just want to spend time catching up with a friend in peace. I don’t need to be interrupted by someone preaching about God, and I definitely don’t need someone to scream, “Don’t resist Jesus!” at me. My religious tolerance is high, but I can’t tolerate people who aggressively try to influence my religious views. Please back off and let me decide on what I want to believe in.
