Last week, eight police officers were brought to the campus in light of death threats the girls were receiving in response to their videos. The videos included comments like, “You can understand what we are saying, our accents, we use actual words. Black people do not.”

It’s so sad to know that racism is still so blatant in this day and age. I’m glad I live in a city where it’s diverse and racism isn’t rampant. I know it takes time to accept certain cultures and certain people, but you’re crossing the line when you publicize your racial hatred. These girls are also minors and need better things to do with their lives than judge others less fortunate than them.
