NEVER BUY DOGS FROM PET STORES OR BREEDERS (unless it’s someone you really know)! Adoption from shelters is the way to go! Dogs from shelters may already be trained, definitely vaccinated, and healthy. Puppy mills are just like the animal farms in America. The workers there don’t give a rat’s ass about the dogs’ well-beings. They only care that the puppies they want are produced. FIGHT ANIMAL CRUELTY!

I’m in that summer-pop-mood.

Say Something Nice

Another video via Improv Everywhere and this one is especially heartwarming :)

For our latest mission we constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, ‘Say Something Nice.’ The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to ‘say something nice.’

Heartwarming Tearjerker of the Day: Lab-raised beagles that have never seen the light of day are rescued and brought outside for the first time, thanks to the efforts of Animal Rescue, Media & Education (ARME) and their Beagle Freedom Project.

Happily, all the rescued beagles have since been placed in loving foster homes.
